Your Right to Data Deletion
At Sirsi Taluka Agricultural Produce Co-Operative Marketing Society Ltd. ("TMS Sirsi"), we respect your privacy. The TMS Sirsi app does not collect or store new personal data on its own—it displays information from records maintained at our branch office.
If you wish to update, restrict, or delete personal information we hold about you in our branch records, you may submit a request using the methods below.
What Can Be Updated or Deleted
Upon your request, we can review and process changes to the following data in our branch records:
- Your name and contact details (phone number, email address, mailing address).
- Membership or customer account information.
- Any other personal data registered with us at the branch.
Because the app reads from branch records, any changes made at the branch will be reflected in the app once our records are updated.
How to Request Data Deletion
You can submit a data deletion or correction request through any of the following methods:
Option 1: Visit Our Branch
Visit the TMS Sirsi branch office in Sirsi, Karnataka during business hours (Mon–Sat, 9 AM – 6 PM) with valid identification. Our staff will verify your identity and process your request.
Option 2: Via Email
Send an email to tms@tmssirsi.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Include the following details:
- Your full name.
- Your membership or customer number, if applicable.
- The phone number or email associated with your branch records.
- A brief description of what data you want deleted or corrected.
Option 3: Via Phone
Call us at 08384 236239 during business hours (Mon–Sat, 9 AM – 6 PM) and request data deletion. Our team will guide you through the process.
Processing Timeline
- We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days.
- Your data will be updated or permanently deleted from our branch records within 30 days of verification.
- You will receive a confirmation once the request is complete.
Exceptions
Certain data may be retained if required by law or cooperative society regulations, including:
- Transaction and membership records required for tax, audit, or regulatory purposes.
- Data necessary to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.
- Anonymised or aggregated data that cannot identify you personally.
